Portable Atsc Tv
Cydle wants to turn your iPhone into a portable TV. The case of the i30 firm has an antenna that can receive portable atsc tv signals, the new standard for digital TV in the U. S. , allowing users to watch free live TV on their iPhone, so they can capture an portable atsc tv signal. The case i30 box covers the back and bottom of the iPhone, and attaches to the phone via its dock connector 30-pin. The case has an internal rechargeable battery that provides up to 3 hours of watching TV. The i30 also includes a car kit, with support for the windshield and an adapter to power it, so you can watch TV in the car - preferably when you do not drive. For watching TV with the i30, download the free app MobileTV Cydle. The app automatically scans available channels to find, so users do not have to do it manually. Interestingly, the i30 stream video to iPhone via WiFi connection, not via the dock connector 30-pin of the iPhone. Unlike systems placeshifting, the i30 does not need a fast connection data, then you can use the device in areas where you do not have five bars. It's a bit odd that the i30 uses your WiFi connection, because it means that you can not connect to a WiFi network and use the i30 at the same time. The price and availability at the i30 is not known at this time, but the aircraft had the green light from the FCC, suggesting that a launch is near. The free app Cycle is also available on the iTunes app store, but it will not be useful without the i30. . . Here I got an American TV (a Sony KDL-V32XBR2 to be exact), which therefore has no scart socket and has a tuner in the American Standard "ATSC". Of course, when I plug in a source (such as the Wii) composite above, the image is in black & white (I guess the tuner "ATSC" is NTSC and not PAL compatible). I also have a box "Alice Initial" equipped with only a scart output, that I intended to plug into the TV via a wireless transmitter. I thought it sufficient to use a transmitter American NTSC compatible to solve the problem, but I guess it must also emit the box to NTSC, which I doubt . . In describing the standard "ATSC" on wikipedia, it says it would be compatible "PAL / SECAM" but I assume that this is just the HDMI?. .
